Birds Exiting Wash Tank - Birds expelled into Chill Tank to start the chilling process.

Chill Tank - clean water is exchanged at a rate of 3,500 gallons per hour at a temperature of 0-1 degrees Celsius.

 
Hanging Bin - Birds are hung on the line in preparation for the packaging process. 

Operating the Meyn M3000 - This is the computerised system which controls and operates the packaging area and the hanging line.

 

Grading - Chickens being allocated into different categories.

Fresh Chicken - Operators tray packing fresh chicken for their final destination.

 
  
Products on Intralocks - Trayed products proceeding via conveyor (referred to as intralock conveyors) to one of two automatic wrapping machines (ULMA's). Q.C. Deboning - Operators performing quality checks on boneless breasts.
 
Deboning Area - Operators preparing boneless products, i.e. breasts and thigh meat, for restaurants, hotels and supermarkets. AS/400 Scale Station - Scale operator weighs off products for receipt by the Marketing Department for distribution or storage.
